Cheat: Make Money
If you want to make lots of money easily, try the following multi-step technique. Keep in mind that this can be repeated over and over again for as much money as you want.
1.) Start up the game and load your career profile.
2.) Head to the in-game cheats menu, and insert the UNLOCKALLTHINGS cheat.
3.) With the bonus unlocked, go ahead and save your career.
4.) Reload your career and head to the garage. The code should have unlocked several new, expensive cars.
5.) Sell the bonus cars you received for a quick $90,000+.
Hint: File Corruption Notes
If you accidently shut off your system before it saves your alias file may be corrupted. However, this does not necessarily means you have to start from scratch. Reboot your PS2 and go to the memory card browser. Locate the corrupt file (your alias or profile for NFS) and delete just that file.
You will see another file on the card which is your 'Career' file. Do not delete this block! Start up ProStreet and you will be asked to create another Alias. Once you've done this your career file will load and you're off again to the races.

Hint: Points for 360 in Drift
When you are in drift mode you can get some extra points for doing doughnuts. Hold one direction and the handbrake and gas and let go of the handbrake after a second. You'll just sit there and do doughnuts. This won't get you massive points but it's something.

Hint: Money Mayhem
Play through Underground Mode as you would usually do, unlocking a good amount of cars and performance parts. This is just your initial investment (or 'seed money') for the trick.

Save the game. Then buy and modify the VW Golf to the maximum and trade it in for the Honda S2000 for a gain of about $1500. Take the Honda to the garage and demodify it (strip the parts) and trade the Honda for a Skyline (and a loss of about $3000). With the Skyline, you can now trade for the VW Golf for a gain of about $10,000. You can repeat this car laundering until you have enough cash for your dream machine.

Hint: Easy Style Points
If you want to get a lot of style points, just keep playing on a drift course that gets you alot of points. Even if you come in first, you can keep replaying the level and you will keep gaining style points. This allows you to unlock all the decals paint jobs early in the game.

Hint: Easy Drag Races
Having a hard time completing a drag race? Strip your car of every performance upgrade except handling and brakes. Your opponents will automatically do the same thing. This makes it easier to make a perfect shift everytime. This will work in all races except the ones that say you have to have a fast car.

Hint: Flip Cars
First "draft" a car until your front bumper touches the opponent's rear bumper, then hit the Nitrous and your opponent's car will be flipped.

Hint: Nitrous Blast
Tap the nitrous button before the race starts, when all the cars are revving their engines on the starting line, to blow a puff of nitrous smoke.

If you want, you can make use of the Autosculpt feature that lets you personalize the look and settings of your car by utilizing any possible combination that your imagination would like to try.
